Service & Transaction Details: requested service types, scheduling preferences, special instructions, service notes, invoices, and tokenized payment references (not full card numbers).

Communications: messages via forms, email, or phone, including support and follow-up notes.

Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device model, visits to website pages, interactions, and analytics from cookies or similar tools.

Referral & Marketing Context: how you reached our site (ads, links, campaigns).

Optional Photos: any "before/after" images you share to help with estimates, quality assurance, or damage documentation.

2. How & When We Collect Your Data

When you request a quote, submit a booking inquiry, complete forms, or sign in. When you communicate with us via phone, email, chat, or social platforms. Automatically while you browse our website through cookies and analytics. From integrated service partners like payment processors or scheduling tools when needed to deliver services.

3. Why We Use Your Information

Service Delivery: scheduling cleanings, matching cleaners, processing payments, and providing support.

Communication: sending confirmations, reminders, and responding to inquiries via email or phone.

Improvement & Security: analyzing site performance, troubleshooting issues, preventing fraud, and refining service offerings.

Promotions (optional): sending marketing messages where you've given permission (you can opt out anytime).

Legal & Compliance: retaining records to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our policies.

3a. SMS / Text Messaging (TCPA Disclosure)

When you provide your phone number through our booking forms, you may receive service-related text messages from Verde Luxe Cleaning — for example booking confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, and payment receipts. These transactional messages are sent in connection with the cleaning service you've requested and are permitted under the established business relationship exception of the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

If you affirmatively consent (by checking the SMS opt-in box at sign-up or telling our team you'd like texts), we may also send promotional messages such as occasional offers, follow-ups, or service updates. You can withdraw consent for marketing texts at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages or by adjusting your communication preferences in your customer portal. Reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your wireless carrier.

Verde Luxe Cleaning does not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process data based on your consent, contract needs (booking services), legitimate interests (e.g., improvements, fraud detection), or to comply with legal obligations.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do use advertising and analytics tools that transmit certain data to their providers to measure and improve our own marketing and recruiting — some privacy laws classify this kind of transfer as a "sale" or "share." We may share your information with:

• Payment & scheduling partners (such as Stripe) to process bookings and payments.
• Communications providers (email and text-messaging platforms) to send notifications.
• The cleaning professionals assigned to your service, for the job details needed to perform it.
• Advertising & analytics providers — Meta (Facebook) and Google — as described in Section 8.
• Service providers (IT, security, hosting) under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal or law enforcement entities when required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Customer account data is retained for the duration of the customer relationship plus up to 3 years. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 13).

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and secure payment processing via PCI-compliant processors. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how it is used, and measure and improve our advertising and recruiting. These fall into three groups:

• Essential cookies: required for the site to function (e.g., session management).
• Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the site.
• Advertising cookies & technologies: help us measure and target our own marketing and recruiting.

Specifically, we use these third-party tools, which receive data as described:

• Meta (Facebook) Pixel: a script that runs on our pages and reports your visit and activity on our site — together with your IP address, device and browser information, and Meta advertising cookies — to Meta, so we can measure our ads and build advertising audiences.
• Meta Conversions API (server-side): if you apply to work with us through our careers pages, we also send certain application events and hashed (irreversibly scrambled) contact details — such as your email, phone, name, and general location — to Meta directly from our server, to measure and improve our recruiting ads. Because this happens on our server rather than in your browser, ad blockers and browser settings do not stop it.
• Google Analytics: reports site traffic and usage to Google so we can improve the site.

You can limit browser-based tracking through your browser's cookie settings and through ad-blocking or opt-out tools; Meta and Google also offer ad-preference controls within your account settings on those platforms. To ask us to stop sending your information to these tools where we are able to, email contact@verdeluxecleaning.com. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., review platforms, social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

10. Children's Privacy

Verde Luxe Cleaning operates in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our services, you consent to this transfer. We take steps to ensure your data is handled with appropriate safeguards.

16. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved in the courts of Wayne County, Michigan.
